Do you know why the report was not released? Did the government tell you?
I get that your point is that they didn’t release it because it didn’t support their agenda, but I am sure you recognise (whether you admit it or not) that there are any number of reasons not to release it.
There are so many subjective and ideological arguments for and against natural gas and fracking that it would be pointless to reiterate them here.
Why don’t you just accept that investors in this company believe that:-
a. Fracking is safe
b. It is an essential transition fuel
c. The probability of success is worth the risk of our investment.
d. The jobs, revenue and energy independence provided will be good for the UK.
If you hold us in such contempt, why do you constantly try to protect us from our own folly?
You may end up being correct about the industry’ success, but we are big boys and girls, and for the most part, seasoned investors. If we lose money, we move on.
