For the record, long time HC follower, short term poster. From an objective non-holder perspective, I can understand why non-holders come to the GSW thread to discuss the stock and often do so in a negative light. Whether holders like it or not (evidently), GSW has become to the ASX what Game of Thrones is to HBO. It has entertainment value, which is bound to offend and infuriate holders.

From a non-holder's perspective, and as someone who has followed the company's meteoric rise (and admittedly missed the jump from the gate), read and reviewed all of the company's statements, announcements and responses to the ASX, this is not a stock that investors will circle in the short to medium term without an unblemished, positive trading history following the company's release from suspension, which would include positive announcements of concrete engagements that will provide guaranteed revenue for the company (as opposed to long-term, trial period and non-committal agreements that could be worth anywhere in the vicinity of $0 and $50m to the company).

I also see the hope and positivity for which holders of GSW possess, those who have followed and bought into the narrative. I too am in blue sky stocks and you have to buy into the narrative to be in it, even through the tough times.

The point is, the two views are not incongruous. To have the short term view that the stock is untouchable does not make you a down-ramping, conspiracy substantiating, AFR partisan short seller. It makes you an objectively cautious investor unwilling to put your money into a stock who has shown its capacity to mislead or misjudge (depending on where you sit) and non-compliance with the very rules that govern being listed. That does not mean the Company can't rectify their image or correct the course of the company in the medium to long term, which I have every faith it will if class action concerns are staved off.

Anyway, GLTAH, whether short or long for you're all ramping one way or the other, whether you realise you are or not.
