I've just discovered this thread having bought into ADV on 23/2 on the hope of a bounce from the correction after the 52 week high breakout on ultra high volume on 16/01 and an advisory speculative buy recommendation on that date.

I was hoping that the breakout was an indication of strength but unfortunately its turned out to be weakness, i.e. smart money selling. This is where the smart money (not necessarily professionals) make their money. The same sort of price volume action occurred on 18/8/2017 on a 26 week high breakout. In both cases the price has fallen back to the 2c level and dipped as low as 1.2c.

I've watched the SP fall consistently with the number of buyers outnumbering the number of sellers in the order book. The SP today falls on what is supposed to be good news. I'm confused! Something weird is going on. Can any of the "Hold and Hope" holders explain this to me?

What does "down ramping" mean? This is an HC specific invention to describe anyone with a negative view of a stock price. I know what "ramping" is and there are three specific criteria that have to be used to identify it. What are the criteria for "down ramping"?

Pleas don't accuse me of being a "down ramper". I'm just a simple TA who is a bit sad about ignoring my system signals and following a recommendation from an advisory service. I have to stop making these mistakes.
