Nothing has changed fundamentally about BUD. It's business as normal (despite the ridiculous posts we have all had to endure recently on HC), and each day the company grows in value as more Ohms are deployed!

I have gone back and read the original ASX query - and the response BUD initially provided - and can see no issue with it.

However this further suspension is interesting. I wonder what the ASX was not happy about?

IMO the ASX has put BUD in a commercially awkward position - Dave has given us all good reasons why the specifics of these major deals cannot be disclosed (commercial positioning, i.e revealing the specifics of a deal with company X will compromise their position in future negotiations with company Y).

IMO this means they are either (1) trying to tiptoe around revealing the specifics (for good reason) and/or (2) are seeking permission to reveal what they can where they can - this would mean contacting their distributorship partners directly. They may also be (3) assessing the potential market in more detail, to give a clearer picture of potential and likely Ohm installs in different regions (work to be conducted with their distributorship partners)

Another plausible option is Dave is actually looking to finalise the Telstra deal during suspension - to hopefully satisfy the ASX of the deal? This would also explain the need for further suspension.


I am obviously hoping for the latter - IMO we do not need the specifics of the deals (nor would I want to compromise BUD's commercial position at all). I have been more than happy with the communication with shareholders to date (in fact, communication has been outstanding).

...ASX is barking up the wrong tree here...
