I can't answer that, I don't know enough about Amazon and how they work as a box dropper. I do know that their first core business was electronic only - physical products came later and they also, like ebay, host for a lot of 3rd parties who get approved to sell their products via an amazon link. And then it is out of amazon's hands, how the 3rd party supplier gets the product out. They also now have their own warehouses and hold stock. I can surmise only and this is a guess, that this will be offered to their 3rd party suppliers as an out-of-the-box fast, cost effective solution, maybe they will even put some pressure or conditions on them to use a uniform delivery tracking system.

But I'm waiting like everyone else and not assigning any value on any amazon deal until I see the details. NAW is the one that should be updated soon.
