There is a AFR street talk article about John Allerton who heads the ASC leaving Vocus.

It refers to Allerton as having said the ASC faced tsunamis and earthquakes and “geological challenges”. I have to agree though that the head of ASC leaving is probably not good. Will wait to hear more from the company I guess - given the AFR’s misquote have to assume they’ve tried to spin this a bit.

Meanwhile, from all I can tell, the ASC is on schedule. Recent update just today about the cable being shipped to sites (or has it slipped by a week?)
