Fair points. I didn't read it as though the story was drawing any conclusions. In stories like these I've come to expect that the journo is merely pointing out everything they find out of place, and leaving it to the investor to draw their own conclusion and be responsible for it. But others clearly do not have the same expectations, which is a problem.
It'd be nice if Shapiro could address the concerns you've raised. This has clearly affected people's hard earned savings, so full transparency from the journo would be tremendously helpful for everyone.
