I had done my research based on mainly announcements and the figures I had believed are audited and true.
What Shapiro insinuated was there's kind of ponzi scheme, which suggests those figures are all fake.
How can ordinary investors do fact-check, when the publicly released figures might be fake?
I don't think they are fake after spending 5 days researching with the help of insightful posters here, but last Friday, I didn't have time to look into piles of past announcements.
The SP was collapsing 40%, many of us have work to do and don't have time to do research, what Shapiro suggested was so huge if it's true..... it was extremely hard to make a sensible and informed decision.
I was scared and felt the urge to make up my mind within a couple of hours.
Shapiro spent weeks on this and still wrote a misleading article full of insinuation, on the other hand, we were totally blindsided, given no time to look into the issue.
It's just not fair.
