Ordinary investors can fact check by searching for info on registered share holders and acquired entities among others.

Shapiro spent weeks researching, and presented his findings as they stood. I’ve gone back over the original article and there’s nothing in there that I’ve been able to show to be incorrect. He presented his findings, and you’re required to make your own investment decisions based on public knowledge, of course. You can fact check his work, which you should do.
