Charts for last night.
Fifth straight gain on the DJIA. I'd say tonight will be a test to see if the market has the stomach to try and keep denying that the top is in. Ichimoko cloud still forming a downtrend.
HUI and HUI:Gold ratio had unconvincing moves last night.
If I was trading the bounce in gold stocks I'd hang in for tonight's action. If the US indexes falter (in a small way) there might be some more appetite for sector rotation and if they don't it hasn't really effected the performance of gold or the gold stocks much in recent times having strength in these indexes. Gold and gold stocks seem to attract their own special bids.Esh
