I know people at my office, in my family, at the footy club who put money into all sorts of 'coins' in the last few months believing the BS and many have lost a fortune in just a few weeks. As I said anyone investing right now is just gambling, who the hell knows where the price will be tomorrow? I don't agree that it is now stable, there are still large daily percentage swings. I take in what you say regarding the potential of Ripple as opposed to other crypto-currencies but there are still significant risks. There are also arguments about whether Ripple is really crypto in the same sense of privacy that it was designed for. This could end up being a benefit as I don't think in the long run governments will allow untrackable monetary transactions for a host of reasons.
