JD for the misinformed. Syerston has had mining lease applications in since the late 1990's. You need an development consent to be able to trigger the MLA, which was granted in around 2000. Syerston has not sort to complete the MLA as this imposes significant additional costs which it is delaying as long as possible.
Now AUZ has not completed it EIS or gained a development consent so although has applied for a rediculously large MLA this cannot proceed until the development consent is granted.
You need to do more homework!
