Well, I tried Ollie, really I did.......I was in the process of brokering a deal between the ship's owners and the New Zealand Government, who wanted to purchase it lock, stock and barrel. Unfortunately the deal fell through though when Helen Clark(e)? found out the sheep had been sold to those spoil-sport Ethiopians...... You see the Kiwi plan was to rename the vessel "The Love Boat" and it was to be used for pleasure cruises around the islands. Wouldv'e lent a whole new meaning to the term of endearment "lammikins" wouldn't it?? The Shepherds position alone (nothing to do with the Missionary possie BTW) attracted over 10,000 applicants who were willing to work without pay: "Fringe benefits alone would suffice" they were quoted as saying, with the proviso that the sheep had all been dipped, docked and dunged.
