I don't expect my idea to be taken up, but maybe it will provoke some thought in those who do bicker, about how their actions affect others, who are actually in the midst of concentration and trying to focus on the job at hand. Despite being a public forum, the daytrading thread is in some respects a work area. A shared virtual office. It is not ok to keep disrupting a workplace environment, whether you are right or wrong, it is still not the time and place to bicker. It is a place to focus, to share and empower each other, to thrive with shared goals and information.

No offense intended to you or shelby, zero, or to any of the other non dters - this is not about you, it's about the daytraders having a forum to daytrade. This thread was split from the general thread to give them that space. I think it was Endless who began it. All I want is a thread that works for daytraders. My idea might seem extreme but it's not my first idea on the subject. A lot of negative posts and what I perceive to be bullying (not of me) have brought me to this point and I am merely looking for a solution to create a pleasant, and importantly functional, daytrading forum environment.

Maybe the solution is allow for 3 types of posts. You would select which type of post you want to submit.

Option 1) Stock Code and a Short comment limited to 20 Characters. eg : SAS - About to bounce.
Option 2) Stock Code and an Upload. No comment allowed. eg SAS - Image
Option 3) No Stock code given. Just a general comment not related to anything. eg why doesn't everyone rush to by stocks in a nano satellite company?

Then in your user preferences/top of screen, you can choose to filter out the type of comments you don't want to see.

Should be simple enough functionality for Hot Copper add.

That is just a view from a silly Software Developer. (and yes I love SAS......that's why I cant day trade)
