I may be wrong but I understand land owners are entitled to forms of compensation when their land is mined.
Why else did iwi buy it? Or was it part of a "treaty" settlement, either way are they not entitled to clip the ticket?
It will be just another cost to BRL and hardly of the scale that L+M have over BRL for Escarpment.
