Really don’t understand why some can’t see it for what it is. The change in strategic direction warrants a money man (or woman) at the helm of a LIC, not someone of AG’s management profile. It makes perfect sense to me, and a management presence in Australia with creditials and connections bodes well for the future for MMJ. For those that lament the sell off of assets, how long has it been? Get over it. Reduced MMJ percentage of H1? That’s been known for the last 10 months or so (it was in the filing statement).

    In a nutshell:
*MMJ is a listed investment company and needs a financially minded and equipped CEO to target growth investment opportunities etc. for shareholders. A tighter rein on financials has long been overdue in my opinion, and this bloke should do it.
*H1 is a MC/cannabis company that needs a horticultural and construction expert (which if one checks, fits Andreas).

Jump to conclusions at your peril, but I’m still holding ‘cause I understand the business model of MMJ, and for their continued growth and financial success that is not wholly reliant on H1, they need a person committed to that job, not juggling hats from one to another (with limited expertise in the development and growth of investments). If people were uncomfortable with the change in strategic direction months ago, I can’t understand the outrage now with a more suitable change in CEO. What if this bloke proves himself? And do you really think the incumbent CEO will divest himself from MMJ....a company he wrestled from Boaz? Further, do you really think that the incoming CEO would sell off the nearest term potential cash cow? The one with some near term capital growth?

Finally, I don’t like the increased competition within Canada....what’s the count now in terms of licenses? MMJ at the very least are hedging their bets through diversification, and do I need to point out that H1 growing operations are minimal for 2018, AND Satipharm sales have been lacklustre? I’m more excited about MMJ’s offshore investments in Dosecann and Weedme....but hey, I’m still holding so I must be stupid.
