Thanks, Preston I am not qualified to debate the point, but I can say that your assertion is in conflict with public statements by CLQ wherein it is plainly stated that each autoclave can meet PFS capacities specified. Your statement is also in conflict with public statements by CLQ, that only one autoclave will be hooked up initially; though obviously this would be logical during ramp-up.

It is possible that the autoclave capacity is higher than 2.5 mil and CLQ shrunk the public figure down to account for down-time, etc.

I also grant the normal methods of calculating operating days, down time, etc. But allow me to ask, is it possible to run the autoclaves for more than 1 shift per day ? In other words, could the nameplate capacity be expanded by running 10% or 15% or 20% overtime ? Or one or two days extra per week ?

No offense is meant, and it would be nice to get to the bottom of it, although I do not feel urgency about it. On the other hand, if another poster is very keen on resolving the issue, he could contact CLQ IR about it. They have been very forthright in the past about answering my questions. We are not insiders, we can only go by public statements of these companies, so it is entirely possible there are things we are not aware of that can lead us to erroneous conclusions.

But honestly, CLQ has engineers and is very careful about their public statements. So if I am in a position where I must decide on a matter of fact, and I have conflicting statements from CLQ and an outside expert such as yourself, I may have doubt; but in the end I would tend to believe CLQ, which has a very good record as far as I am concerned, about the truth of their public statements.

And no offense is intended to you or Flippa or anyone else, and I certainly not challenging anyone's qualifications to speak on the subject.

I am a trusting fellow so when an anonymous poster tells me he is an engineer or a control engineer, I accept it.

But when CLQ says each autoclave is sufficent for the PFS, and when they say that each autoclave can run 2.5 mta, I am going to be very, very surprised if they are mistaken about this, as it is a materially important point about the Sunrise project.
