Maybe a combination of falling in love with a stock, wanting to believe in Dave- as his manner, presentability, saleability and contactability undoubtedly are great, and denial- as the SP started to unravel and lack of experience in the stock market? Its their investments and hard earned $$ at stake, but what some do not know is never confuse equating a CEOs likeability for their companies performance. They are not our mate? lol. Its an MDs job to sell his company.

And its always easiest to HOLD onto a stock rather than cut loss- one day soon, it will come good. Etc. Its all very human, as is the fear, denial, capitulate phases ppl go through.
