Switch A9.6m
I would add
Connect8 -$2,613 (loss on disposal of fibre installer)
To come up with a proper cost we would have to adjust for inflation, depreciation and further investments we made (eg laying fibre).
To look at what managment consider its value to be;
This mid year report says NZ is carrying $323.8m of goodwill (unchanged)
I just noticed they have also increased their 'non-current' asset costs in NZ to $311.4m (from $231.6m)
So Vocus's book value for NZ has increased to $635.2m (from $555.4m)
They are legally required to keep those numbers as accurate as possible, but the cynic in me wonders if they might be tempted to bump them up as a sales tactic, and to minimise tax.
I think the market would be very happy with $500m, havent heard anyone suggesting a number starting with 6
