To me it makes perfect sense by the ASX to be so cautious. As frustrating as it is you would be asking a lot of questions to after the 6Billion dollar debacle.
The plus side to this is that when this does relist, and i believe it will, the ASX will be fully satisfied and so should the potential investors and shareholders.
