Hungry Buys, page-79

Hi everybody. Firstly id like to apologise for hovering over everybodys posts like a helicopter.
Secondly, I have had time to review my posts because I have been caught up in cyclone Gita and have been distracted with organising insurance etc. So canceling my twothumbs up a/c was not a priority. Im glad I didnt.

I have reviewed my posts and the self moderatded ones and im happy to date with what I have said and what I deleted. Every thing I have posted is genuine , honest and factual to the best of my ability. My words....depending on how people are feeling, could be taken as possitive or as negative but my intentions are always meant as possitive. So im sorry if I have offended anyone. I dont always get it right. I self mod because if I report someone, that exposes other posts and makes them vulnerable to moderation as well , hence why I think barney became a victim. That saddened me as I got where he was coming from, and didnt deserve to go imo. I only coied a part of his post. Not all. When I was evacuating the property in my 4x4 it got swamped and insurance wrote it off yesterday. Hahaha I managed to rescue my myselfself and daughters cat though... the rest can be replaced.

More about that soon.

When I was leaving, a lady drove up the drive. She was terrified, panicking and frozen with fear with this freak of nature. Rightly so. It was dangerous. I managed to reassure her that she would be ok and that things would come right. She wanted to stay with me but she was going the opposite way to me. So she sucked in a deep breath, mustered some courage , left her car at my place and hitched a ride to safety with a bigger vehicle.
As I left the water came up to the doors if my 4x4. It nearly stalled and I too was fearful but it was not a time to loose my cool. I was too close to the river that was raging.
So under pressure I had to pause and think. I Planted my foot on the gas peddal and rode the clutch and bunny hopped and got out. Unfortunately my truck had sucked up some water so I only JUST made it to the neighbours but my truck was f...k'd.
I considered myself very lucky. Some people had to be rescued from their rooftops.

I phoned my daughter and she was releived to know that I was safe..along with her cat.
She has no idea about shares or " the lingo " ( must admit im still learning too, I dont even know what ta stands for ) but after she had hung up she sent me a txt.
It said..

"Mum , its hard for me to believe what you are going through, this is what its like here" and she sent me a pixt of a beautiful cloudless blue sky.
I cried.
BGS is a freak of nature too imo but in the extreem of the total opposite.
We have so much going on, and so much going for us. So much value for money. You just need to look at the results to date on the website.

Im glad I have the glasses on that I have ( I choose to look on the bright side).....so I can see clearly . I see that BGS is worth its weight in gold imo.
