Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this is a product that has proven to PROLONG life. To at least 100days, 50pc of the time.

That is a huge improvement, but are they saying it cures the condition? Do we know if it's a 1 off, will longer term outcomes show its a recurrent treatment of.unknown frequency? At 170k a pop.

If it was one of my two kids I would move heaven and earth, but can we please be just a bit realistic about the fact that a treatment has to be both effective and economically viable before we profess it's billion dollar status, because someone, somewhere has to make a decision about what the health system can afford.

I honestly hope it is affordable, it isn't recurrent, and it goes a long way to curing the condition.

But.in the meantime I'm gonna just be happy it's one very positive step in a journey of many, rather than putting a deposit down on a yacht in the Monaco marina
