For anyone out there who is interested in chart reading, I like to use (to a limited extent) Volume Spread Analysis (VSA). Using VSA forces you to search for high volume periods and treat them with a high degree of respect. Just looking at the weekly chart for FLC you can see that these high volume areas do in fact identify levels of support and resistance. I have set my system up to identify these areas automatically.

VSA is counter intuitive as it considers a higher Close on significantly higher volume as weakness, i.e. the smart money selling, and visa versa for high volume on a lower Close (and of cause the out clause is unless proven otherwise - see the high volume up bar of April 2016 - this is referred to as Buying Into Strength). I've marked the extreme levels of support and resistance on the chart below. These levels seem to be working quite well for FLC.
