I spoke to Dale Rogers at the RIU Conference about our cash position going forward and he said cash would be a problem if everything didn't go to plan.
He alluded to the convertible note as a very important issue and the hope they could strike a deal of sorts with the holder.

I asked for his opinion on why the sp was so weak at the moment and he said a holder who participated in the recent cap raise is selling out and is almost finished. He didn't offer a reason why someone would throw away around 40% of their money.

Dale said whilst he and his family have put a lot of money into the company and believe it to have a bright future, CTL cannot afford any major problems such as plant failure or lower than expected grades over the next few months.

He said the next 3 months is an acid test for the company and if they came out the other side in good shape then there should be no need for further equity
raisings.

The presentation was well presented but as CTL was the last presenter prior to the lunch break, many of the punters left early, leaving the room quite sparse.

Maybe there were many complimentary tickets given out as anyone paying close to a $1000 surely wouldn't consider grabbing a bite to eat was more important than spending 15 minutes listening to someone outling the potential turnaround of a small gold company.

I accepted an invitation from another company presenting, to attend yesterday and wasn't going to waste the opportunity. There were many interesting stories out there, though not much from the companies I held shares in as I guess I already know about them.

It has given me a lot of homework to do regarding the many other companies whose stories piqued my interest, so for me it was a fruitful day.
