Gee, how are the Turnbull luvvies and cheer squad going to cope when big Mal leads the LNP to annihilation at the next election?
Being he threw away 14 seats last time, he'll probably throw away another 14 this time...I suppose they'll just blame Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce...

I guess though for Australians the upshot will be that Turnbull will resign immediately following the election loss as his ego will be bruised, and a real leader will take over at the head of the LNP...
