On a side note, just thought of something. China imported a record 38+ million tonnes of LNG in 2017, up 50% from 2016.
Using this, https://www.extension.iastate.edu/agdm/wholefarm/html/c6-89.html:
1 million metric tons LNG = 48.7 billion cubic feet NG
11tcf is thus equivalent to about 226 million tonnes of LNG, which equates to 6 years of total Chinese imports (not taking further increases into account). And the 11tcf does not include Vu lower or Vm3. Both 15m thick. Unreal.
I believe it was mir911 who previously said that the numbers being bandied about by the company are mind-boggling.
