well, I suspect a lot of Presidents sowed the seed - but, GW did have 8 years to arrest things - and, didn't
but, the big thing is that either way --- Obama came in and was hit with the mother of all financial crises --
That's a pretty big dummy to be passed - and, IMO - we may well never know - but, we should be grateful that whatever he did --- we are all still breathing - which is saying something after a hit like that.
I shudder to think what GW would have done - or Trump or Clinton or anyone else -
Obama might get a lot of poop dumped on him - but, he didn't have unfettered power and he did get us through that massive crisis
He also got lumped with 2 wars that gave the US no end of grief - say what we might about him - but, if that were poker - he really was given a crap hand to begin with
