I have never harped on about the close relationship of FAR and the Senegalese Govt.
I have never stated or inferred anything underhand or improper about this relationship.
If I have, point it out and I will apologise!
What I have stated/ inferred is that FAR is close/has a good relationship with the Government.
And that WPL doesn’t, IMHO.
And further that FAR is the vehicle for the Government to get what it wants which is IMHO not sprat oil WPL.
And that it has been COP’s, and WPL’s actions, with the collusion of CNE which has provided the opportunity for this to be done legally else you end up like Venezuela.
And don’t get me started on the “deemed approval “ WPL debate. There is nothing to “override “, your invention! At this stage WPL is nothing more than, “participating “. That is a decree, in writing, and it seems WPL had to extract that out of them. Which IMHO in code for, “in the mean time you are paying the bills”.
And if you believe the COP WPL deal is all “sweetness and light” I suggest you are “blind Freddy”.

As for the Seismic. FAR is not in any JV with CAP. So your analogy is immediately specious!

It seems to me that FAR has an option. The supposed owners of this block are apparently not in a position to be able to for fill their part as the block isn’t in “good standing “.
I take FAR’s position at face value. I haven’t seen anything that contradicts this.
I to wouldn’t hand over something of value, that is the Seismic, to someone who apparently isn’t in a position to for fill there side of the agreement.

But as I say you are being specious as FAR isn’t part of any JV with CAP.

So no I don’t believe that I an being hypocritical, and resent your “hypocrite much” comment.
