Andy, I judge you to be a cluey guy. But I'm having trouble understanding why you would bother to quote ANY Fed member, from the "much touted" St. Louis Fed or any other. It can't be useful information unless you regard it as a contra-indication to reality.

IMO only one thing matters for gold, and that is the launch of the Yuan oil futures redeemable in gold, announced for next month.
Watch gold fly when China starts standing in the market for physical on behalf of oil exporting countries.
Watch the Comex and London lose control of the GP as naked shorting gets blown out of existence forever.
