    Hi Arsenic,

I met Andrew at both Beaver Creek in Colorado and VRIC in Vancouver. I have met geologists that run companies, who are far too technical in the way they communicate/present information. I have also met promoters that might tell a great story. But it's mostly fluff, and some of these end up being borderline scams. Andrew really stood out as someone in-between, and I appreciated that he leaned more towards the technical side than promotional side.

Xanadu was my favorite company at Beaver Creek, which is widely regarded as the top conference in the world for juniors. I had very little background on the company prior to meeting Andrew. However, I was VERY intrigued by the news release a day or two my meeting with him: https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/an...k-hill.3691137/?post_id=27279057#.WpGUGhPwbOQ

I'm not a geologist. But I had a pretty good idea that these results were very exciting. And within a ~20 minute meeting with Andrew, I REALLY understood the potential here, and started to think about why it was under the radar.

The thing is, I am 100% sure the Beaver Creek conference directly led to some of the investors in the placement that came soon after: https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/an...ration.3716517/?post_id=27511695#.WpGUoBPwbOQ

I don't think I'm the only one who figured out this company was a big deal.

I am bringing all this up, because Crab asked you a question, and I feel you answered it with some bitterness. While it's too bad the meeting didn't work out with you, keep in mind this company has been under-the-radar for years, and the potential has been there (though I really do feel 2018 could be a game-changer year for XAM). Though it's true they have struggled with retail investor interest on the ASX, the institutional interest is HUGE, both within Australia and globally.

I already gave pretty clear reasons for why the company has been unloved in my video after Beaver Creek. I think it all still applies now (I'll post it again below for those who missed it). But I want to emphasize that I think the way Andrew/XAM present information is great...better than most companies I own/follow. I thought the recent video they created was top-notch. And I think the North American exposure is ideally timed. As a great model, just look at what Solgold (previously only listed on AIM) did when they started making further discoveries and getting North American exposure in 2016-2017.

Xanadu is doing the best they can. Andrew is the right person to lead the company, and I think he's surrounded himself with the right people. I don't know anything more about the rumour, but that sounds positive as well, thanks for sharing.

I hope Xanadu keeps presenting information in the same way that they have. Not everyone is going to understand everything. But it's up to us to do the homework. For example, there was tons of great information in the recent quarterly that I picked up on, after reviewing it a few times. I have seen other companies dumb-down information, or stretch the truth. I prefer they don't go in that direction.

And on a resource update: I'd rather all efforts continue to focus on further discovery. Despite Solgold's success, look what happened when they released the maiden resource. And rather than explore their entire property, they kept drilling the same target, Alpala. I would argue that Xanadu is going about this a much better way, hitting as many targets as they can (again great info in the recent quarterly on this).

    Cheers,

    MBG
