TV has been around for a while, as have movies and shows, have you not noticed your Facebook feed is all short videos now?? Content is changing, not in the way you said it is above that's tunnel vision.
People want a short video they don't want to read.
We don't have to convince you, the business model will with time.
Alot of people above the age of 50 won't understand why but it's a generation that has completely changed.
