'Left vs Right' false dichomy is only acceptable to those who have been brainwashed by media to accept intellectual dishonesty. I am not one of them.
The whole 'politicians bonking ban' IMO is a smoke screen for the more concerning issue of Politicians using taxpayer fund to hire 'staffers' who don't actually do anything. Many of these useless, do nothing staffers, I suspect have been instructed to astroturf forums and newspaper opinion pages to fan the 'bonking ban' flames so that their postitions are not scrutnised. All parties are milking the public teat and are all complicit in over hiring 'staffers' to do sweet bugger all.
In conclusion, you can tell who the media have indoctrinated with intellectually dishonest presuppositions by their tribalistic use of the "left" vs "right" worldview.
Keep an eye out for them, they're everywhere.
