I see that the Canadian Environmental Agency issued the final environmental assessment guidelines for Jame Bay on the 21 February. These appear to be standardised pro forma however another steady step on the way to developing a mine. On the face of it the environmental assessment and particularly the requirement to consult and liaise with the indigenous people is far more stringent in Canada than Australia.
