Actually for all the stick the SA Government get - the SA public servants in the Dept of State Development do still assess and approve PEPR's while elections are going on, so they are actually better than some other state juristictions in that regard. There are a lot of incompetent state public service bodies/departments in SA but the Mining Approvals area isn't one of them.
