Many possibilities could open up from this deep hole that shows what's underneath! Is it practical at this time?, I'd say no!
The game should be focus on things at hand, this is a "Brain Fart" idea at this time in my opinion.
They will probably find mineralisation, possibly oil, probably coal and some water resource. Will it be mineable? Not as easily as what's at surface. Focus on the GOLD and Cobalt.
CONFUSED ??????.
