The WA GST take can be mirrored against one commodity = Iron Ore.
Not until Iron ore production increased, was there a corresponding decrease in WA's GST take.

Yes, you got cols spending right, but the GST redistribution is still and ongoing major issue.
Other states and territories are sitting on natural assets, such as Gas and the like, who have bans on their production, NT,NSW,Vic, to name just a few.
Yet here in WA, we are utilising our natural assets and we are getting financially rimmed for doing so.

Two question for you.

1) Just where is WA getting GST income from?
2) How can the Federal Government possibly know the net GST of each state.

If you know the answer to those questions, I would appreciate it.
