If the geopolitical rivalry between China & the US or indeed a bunch of other groupings such as the India vs. Pakistan/China etc heat up I’m not talking tomorrow or next year but over the course of time from now onwards- often those chess games require what is called ‘resource denial’ so as to stop a competition utilising it just as much, sometimes more, than our side wants/needs it for themselves.
The game never ends- whether it’s the manifest destiny of the West or the desire to create a ‘coprosperity sphere’ in the Orient, it never ends.
The only thing that changes is what we tussle over- Ug started out fighting his neighbour for food, we now fight for rocks.
Has it changed?
At the end of the day I say no- if anything it’s become more laughable when we sit back & shake our heads at the combined silliness of this, our human family.
( funny because the caveman would probably find it hysterical for us to fight over rocks when he was fighting to fill his & his family’s belly ).
