I have been ignoring CLQ for ages misled by the name! I though it was some exotic water filtering tech until last week when I decided to research since I was looking for a near term Ni producer. Unfortunately you pay premium for the established ones who survived the big downturn in Ni price for a long time. Wished I had done some due diligence at least 6 months ago but I am a slow learner with first mover advantage sectors.

I have no idea where it can reach for in valuation and I don't try to make assumptions since the incidence of Laterite Ni mining is littered with many failures. I have no idea if their technology can be progressed into large scale industrial use and a prototype if I understand demonstrated the capability.

There will be volatility going forward for sure and it is up to each holder to manage their exposure because realistically until they bank their first $, it is still a spec space and no instos will be touching it through their investment mandate. This means like I was made aware from a poster in another forum, it is highly exposed to price bullying/manipulating by the bigger end of town as you saw this week because they know it is populated by retail holders.

We are just sheep fodder if we get shaken out and looking ahead, we now know 1.125 is a conspicuous low so hmm.......
