Thanks for getting this out there @rayz. Its a good basis to note a few things:
1 ARV has nuggety basal MRB at surface so I am mystified why the company is stuffing around at 1700m depth to find it again,
2 the reworking of basal MRB nuggets into the younger Hardey Fm (Cliff Springs) deposits (eg Beatons Ck) has been known about since 1984,
3 the stratigraphy they will drill is all exposed at the margins of the Pilbara basin and accessible in outcrop or via shallow drilling.
4 if you really want to test the targets at Balmoral then shallower drillimg and downhole geophys will nail this and much more cost effectively than One Big Hole (OBH)

DL has tweeted in response to a skeptical tweet from yours truly that ARV have a DeBeers database they are using as background to the OBH, and maybe therein lies the wisdom, but at present I really do not get the point of the OBH
