Hi all,
Just read FNP FY 2018 Half Year Results Presentation and found some interesting products from page 27 onwards.

It details their Nutrition and Adult Nutrition Product lines that A2 management has talked about. These look like they could and significantly to our bottom line and are good fit with our existing product lines.
I think the only reason they have not been introduced yet is that the company is no where near close to scaling up to meet current demand for IF let alone future growth both here and overseas. There is no point in adding more product lines that require more milk powder in its manufacturing when we cant make enough to keep up with demand now.
Freedom Foods has some impressive and diversified products and manufacturing facilities, my mind boggles that soon A2 market cap will be worth over ten fold of Freedom Foods and we could buy it outright with just one years revenue soon. Rather than thinking of just building a joint plant with Fonterra to manufacture additional IF and Nutrition products why dont they think bigger and further down the track and just buy out FNP with A2 and Fonterra contributing for the takeover?
Why let them try to do the dirty on us by taking a slice of our A2 pie when we are in the position or soon will be able to buy them out outright and then use Fonterra to supply the milk and cut out The Perich family and Moxley Farms out of the picture completely.
Nothing personal, its just good business practice to swallow a company while you are in a position to before they become a runaway success story and then the tables turn and what was once the hunted then becomes your hunter.
FNP should of just doubled their offer at the time and had the balls to make a hostile takeover to get the deal done at the time. Wouldn't it be ironic that the same A2 management that originated from FNP all those years ago made a triumphant return to buy out their creator. Maybe our new incoming CEO is ballsy enough to contemplate such a move , imagine what a rocket that would put under A2's SP.
