I dont have the info in front of me at the moment, but I thought that Buddy were going through a certification process with Telstra, if so, this will probably give Buddy some certainty around how their unit works in the operating environs, if they don't already know.

If they want to use it in the Defence space, things like RF emissions (including wireless) and such will need to be understood form a security point-of-view.

So again a certification process will be needed. This is where I would focus my questions to Buddy, if I had concerns about the hardware.
