yep you are right probing, until the tax system is rejigged (not holding my breath) to reward those who take risks by investing in productive assets a great deal of capital will be tied up in bricks and mortar which will not improve the nation's living standards
the risk-reward has been skewed too far towards property and that could hurt us in the long term as a nation
