If the company has been found to have seriously misled the market, deleberately or not, and the company is not allowed to trade. What happens to the money in the bank, assets etc? Are shareholders compensated or just ignored? I assume a Class Action could be mounted but after legal fees what would be left?.

Whoever has the video files could sell them to businesses at a huge discount but other than that what other assets are there?

Hopefully it is just a question which never becomes a reality but I am interested
