Good evening fellow sailors of the good ship HMAS TT.
I have a question for my esteemed colleagues:
What does ‘Let’s your runners, run’ look like to you?
Do you have a percentage target, a dollar value, a psychological (eg sell when it hits $0.50) limit...? How do you gauge when a share has run enough, and what is your strategy as you watch the run unfold?
Context: I’ve been stuck on a few shares recently, watching them rise, then retrace, then rise again, and I haven’t quite developed the right knack to maximise returns as this happens. I understand that this isn’t always predictable, but would love to hear from others about their own learnings.
