Aussie stocks expected to open lower 12/12/2007 07:22AM AEST
The Australian stock market is expected to open lower after US stocks slumped following the Federal Reserve's decision to cut interest rates by a quarter point to 4.25 per cent, disappointing investors who had hoped for a more aggressive reduction.
At 0716 AEDT, on the Sydney Futures Exchange, the December share price index was down 78 points to 6622.
