Six months ago, the PM, much of his Cabinet and all of the Opposition were telling us to "keep out of other people's bedrooms" because it is nobody else's business.
Now, we have BJ, who because he is a white, middle aged, male conservative is fair game, simply for engaging in a normal heterosexual relationship which really is nobody else's business.
Anyone who reads political opinion writers will know that extra-marital relationships are quite common in the Canberra Beltway. Cash hinted at BSs vulnerability but was howled down.
It seems only white, middle aged, Anglo Saxon male conservatives cop a lashing. I think everyone should just lay off, and leave him alone. If he chooses to apologise to his wife and daughters [which he may already have] that is his business alone. Nobody else's.
It was particularly galling to me, after MT finger-wagged at Barnaby a few weeks back and gave him a morals lecture, to see The Great Communicator fraternising at the mardi Gras last night. The man has no moral compass.
