It seems only white, middle aged, Anglo Saxon male conservatives cop a lashing. I think everyone should just lay off, stop with the moralising and leave him alone. If he chooses to apologise to his wife and daughters [which he may already have] that is his business alone. Nobody else's.

The way I look at it is that if you want to be a "celebrity" then your business becomes everyone's business.

The politically correct way of having an affair with your staffer is to separate from your wife first. Show some respect.

If he is lying to his wife, then one can draw an assumption that he is lying to everyone else. Is that the sort of man you want as 2IC?
