It's just not clear cut, a couple may be having problems in their relationship, one may stray but the relationship has not ended and there maybe hope by one, the other or both that they can get past the difficulty. Trial separations is some times done to allow each other to full contemplate if separation is what they really want.

We don't know the full story of just what happen but IMO none of this should be playing out in public, it's a private matter for those involved to deal with.

Dare say there are few of use that could claim to be saints
