Angry - I completely agree with some of your points.

Low content posting is a contentious issue....
I think it's fine to give a one line answer or a 'lol' if it's in keeping with the thread matter -and/or is relevant to the stock.

What I really hate is posts that are absolute rubbish - and are there only to fill space and take away from research and real stock talk.
I know however that I can be as guilty as the next person for that, and I'm trying to take more care with not over posting crap!!

A good example for Angry's argument is the RSL thread tonight.
I happen to have a few bob tucked in there, so have an interest in the stock - but it's just a whole thread of meaningless one line ramps that are most definitely low content and lacking in any substance or back up....

So if it's good for CVI, then it should be good for all the other popular stock codes.
(I say the popular ones, because that's where we have to delve through a lot of garbage to fish out a decent post)

Maybe that will be the next turning point for CVI - far fewer posts, becasue it's all been said!! At this stage though - we still have a lot of uncovering of corporate workings to do, so until the whole picture is painted, there should be a lot to chat about.

As long as ocker understands that we have set up a comeraderie (sp?) among us, and don't like to see one of our good people go to the sin bin for something petty, then that's fine by me... I think it's been brilliant.

Of course bluesdog can't mod the CVI thread - that's far too much responsibility to hold when he is part of the lifeblood of the thread. He IS one of us - and can't be prejudiced.

So - overall, good to see the clean up - but let's see it across the board and not just on CVI.

And let's still be able to have a laugh and joke - this is a sociable outlet for most of us!!
