We know they have successfully fractured the HRZ, first time ever on the North Slope.

Before shut in we know the gas composition was moving from C1 to the heavier C2, indicating connection to the reservoir.

We also know gas was increasing relative to water, that water had an increasing salinity level, indicates connection to reservoir.

We know they ran out of time to finalise testing of the connection to the reservoir.

Nitrogen lift will take around 2 weeks to remove the frac water, after which the connection to the reservoir should be able to effectively be tested. It remains to be seen what effect the extended shut in has had and if indeed the reservoir will flow at all.

There in lies the 50/50%.

Based on what the company has told us thus far, everything leads toward "this should work".

Let's get the that pesky water out and find out. Suspect there will be another group of squeaky bums out there.
